    Dear Alarm specialists

I have an Aritech CD72 home alarm and need to silence the key pad tone. It wakes up my child causing much constination at home. Can anyone please let me know if this is possible and if so the process to follow?

    Many thanks.

    Robert.

    Hi Robert,

If you open the keypad the alarm will activate, enter your code to turn off the alarm. There is like a little pot inside beside the buzzer. You can use a screw driver to either turn it down or off completely. It should be black or blue.

    Any problems let us know.

Thank you Altor for your quick reply and sorry to have posted in 2 locations - a bit of a newbie.. When you say open the alarm do you mean take the front of the panel off?

Yes, the volume control is located in the keypad.
