I don't have the SSCN number though

It does not have an asterisk beside it, so it is not a required field on the form.

All fields marked with an asterisk must be completed in order to purchase State Savings Products.

You should fill in the part at the top of the form indicating that you already hold Prize Bonds and put the account number. It is on the top right of every bond.

I see from my quote-a-day-type calendar that the UK Premium Bonds were launched on 1st November 1956. My one premium bond was bought not too many years later - don’t suppose there’s much chance of it ever appearing on the Winners list.

Any one else not get their prize money from last Friday yet? Since opting to have prize money lodged, the €50 was always in by Sunday, if not Saturday. No sign of this week's long-awaited €50.

Wed - edited to add: Lodged today.

Hey. Hoping some people can share their insights in a question thread about PBs, instead of me derailing this.
    Thanks!

Nothing for me. Number of €50 prizes each draw in Nov 5697, up from 5612 in Oct and 4998 in January. This is a 14% increase since the start of the year, and would make the fund value now well over the €4 billion mark, around €4.165 billion.

One of the €1,000 winners today would be from around 1958. I hope they are still alive to get the money. When I won €1,000 in 2010 and 2015 I had to post them the bond for verification, before they issued the reinvestment bond.

    Wins on 6th November 2020: €0
    Last win - 25th September 2020: €50

Win ratio: 21 wins in 175 weeks (12%)
    2017 (Jul-Dec): 5 x €50 = €250
    2018 (Jan-Dec): 4 x €50 = €200
    2019 (Jan-Dec): 5 x €50 = €250
    2020 (Jan-date): 7 x €50 = €350

That would explain the endless drought here of late on my 100k, hopefully finally going to buy a house and get some tenants in in the next few months now. Never touching these again after that, once I have tenants in as a second income stream I'll be firing money into risky investments looking for my first million without a care in the world :pac:

As long as the interest rate stays the same, then your odds of winning stay the same as well. Because the €50 prizes go up or down (always up for years) every month to match the fund.

Rounded to 7 x €50 wins in any 52 draws for €100K with average luck. How far are you off that since last November?

DIRT free. Anyone liable for DIRT won't get anything close to those figures from easy access, no strings accounts anywhere else.

And the other side of the coin is up 3k on 30k in stocks.

Just as easy, when you know how to create the account, deposit and withdrawn, fill in the forms, pay the taxes, etc. :pac:

With average luck, you would be hoping for a win once every 7 years with a 2k holding.
