The big one was sold in 2019. Edit: Just noticed it says €50K instead of €250K. Press release sent out must have been wrong.

    Half Year Comparison:

    2018 (Jan-June) - €200k – 9x€50 = €450
    2019 (Jan-June) - €250k – 13x€50 = €650
    2020 (Jan-June) - €252k - 12x€50 = €600
    2021 (Jan-June) - €257k - 1x€50 = €50

Wow, that's some run of bad luck you're having ATM
For comparison my €250K for the same period had 5x€50 and the €1K wins
Hopefully your next six months are better :)

Six months of the year gone and I have 8 wins. 2 each in Jan, Feb, March, 1 each in April and May. At the same stage in 2018 I had 6 wins, in 2019 it was 11. Both years finished up with 15. June 2018 4 wins, June 2019 4 wins, June 2020 no wins.

This was my half year report from 2020. I finished up with 11 wins in 2020.

2021 so far 7 wins. Two in January together on the 4th. Three in Feb, two together on the 26th. None in March or April. One each in May and June.

Nothing for me today. The €50K and a €50 went to Greece. That person has a very large holding, and they feature regularly in the €50 winners. See my post #5748 on page 384. They also won €1,000 in June 2018.

    €50,000.00 ZH784006 Greece
    €50.00 ZH778808 Greece
Another €50 gone to this Greek holder today ZH792304, I'm assuming it's the same holder, ZH series and similar serial number in same range and Greece, too much of a coincidence, they are very lucky bagging €50,000 few weeks ago, dead curious what their holding is.
Anyway back to my unlucky self, nothing today, last win April 9th, total wins in 2021 €150.

It could be €250K. If you Search this Thread for "Greece" you will see winning numbers I posted about, ranging from ZH778808 to ZH816762, going back a few years. That is a difference of 37,855 x €6.25 = €236,593.75.

It would be easy enough to narrow it down by examining the results for the last six months (which I am not going to do) and keeping an eye on future results. I did look at all the draws in June and the nearest is bonds in Cavan ZH854xxx and Waterford ZH674254 €50 today, and ZH674178 €50 last week, which is remarkable enough in itself. Also fairly remarkable no ZH winners at all on 11 June.

I usually lurk in this thread but Greek holder?
I know this is a silly question but someone who has bonds but lives in Greece or are Irish bonds apart of some European pool?

A stupid question as I say :pac:

If you had some bonds and you emigrated, what would you do? The advice from Prize Bonds is to always update your address. In case you don't know, go to the map and click on the Global icon to see all the foreign winners.

Little confused by exactly how long you have to wait before funds are deposited back with you after requesting drawdown.
I know that for initial sums it is 3 months but then? Is it always 3 months?

You can't cash in bonds in the first 3 months after buying them.

After that, it shouldn't take long. From memory the money was back in my bank account within a week or so.

Perfect thanks. They do not say that on their website. Only the three month rule.

It's on the repayment application form.

Repayment will be made as selected by you overleaf. This
application must be signed by the actual Bond Holder(s) named on
the Prize Bond. Repayments are subject to 7 working days notice
    from the date of receipt.

Rate applied was as high as 7.5% in the early 1980s
    https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/debates/debate/dail/1981-05-05/38/

Do we think 0.35% is 'rock bottom' or will they go lower?

One of my 20k batches will be 1 year old in two weeks and it has won a single €50 so far.

well your 20k is in line with the average(1 win a year)unless you're one of the 'lucky' ones, myself i'm counting down to going a year with f#*k all on 66k.as for the rate-if it goes down any more you'd be as well filling up the mattress(metaphorically speaking now) because it's a joke at the moment.all the best for the future and don't forget it's only money after all:D

I am coming up on a year with 25k worth no winner so far. Surely there has to be a €50 winner soon

The chances of winning zero €50 prizes in a year on 66k is around 4%, so definitely lacking in luck for now at least if that transpires...

29% chance of zero €50 prizes on 25k.
36% chance of one 50% prize.

Calculations are from that "Prize Bond Returns" Excel sheet that's been shared here and on askaboutmoney before, with the "G" value changed to 0.25% (not 0.35% because the balance would go on bigger prizes as one or two posters here calculated before).
