    Actually you can just type the request, print it out, sign it, scan it, email it back to them if you cant be arsed with a satmp and an envelope.

    but you said compound interest.

    6-7% more realistic?
    try 1.5% -2% after DIRT

    oh yea and if you are investing in stock market... don't forget the 33% capital gains tax

    Im going to put 20k in Prize bonds next week once I find my customer number, wages are piling up in my current account doing nothing and I dont trust the markets not to correct soon so not putting it in shares.

    PBwinner who started this experiment hasnt exactly been getting the best return but everywhere is offering complete cack rates at the moment so might as well.

    Well actually the return hasn't been too bad, when compared to the rates on offer at the banks. I did a quick calculation in one of the past posts in reply to someone who asked about investing in PBs - have a read of that.
