Very very true, my relationship with prize bonds goes back 31 years to August 1985 when I purchased my first prize bonds AF_ _ _ _ _ _, holding 100 bonds and finally winning €75 euro on 2012 and 2013.
Then putting in 20k last August to celebrate my 30 year relationship with prize bonds, but actually very little to celebrate about:( 4 €50 euro wins since last August, nothing today.
I live in hope, I dream big, there is always next Friday.

Give it a chance Lass .. your Friday will come with good measure .. especially 'cos you are a bright new Lass with not even one jaundiced eye, while many of the remainder of us are moaning and groaning like disgruntled old bears. Well, so far my return is 0.35%. If i get another win between now and October, I'll have beaten the return on a 1% acc with the banks.

Iv done well! 2% return on the first 5k in this timeframe was better that i had hoped. I think PBs for me are only a lump sum builder. Ie put the money out of my reach until i have a lumpsum for other investments. Il rebuild it every month afterwards
