I got a call today from http://www.chrome-media.eu/ wondering if I would like to pay 180 for 1 months no contract deal with my website being on top of the google search page for people looking for wedding photographers.
Anyone heard of these guys? It works out a 6 euros a day instead of 1 euro per pay per click.

I really need to update my website so its SEO friendly -a whole other issue :)

    Thanks!

First page for €180 a month

If you cant make money out of that there is no hope ;)

Pay with credit card to cover your ass.

Generally they will not be in any position to guarantee you any google ranking, so be careful about such claims.

1 Euro PPC is some what of an arbitrary amount, I presume they suggested that would be the price. I'm guessing their keyword analysis and bidding estimation is somewhat exaggerated on that.

Remember, when it comes to PPC and Search engines, Google is not the only one out there and others are often alot cheaper, so you need to assess your needs and your volume requirements also.

You didn't bother Googling them did you?

Looks like they're to be avoided.

If they do call you back could you mention all the complaints against them to see how they explain them? Would love to hear what they say.

Run for the hills - seriously.

Firstly have a look at their website. Seriously - one page!
Second, if its €6 per day and an (arbitrary) €1 per click - who pays for the seventh and subsequent clicks?

Third - have a search for the domain name in Google and you will turn up some very interesting articles namely this one:
    http://www.energygrid.com/watchdog/2010/08-fixedfeeadwords.html

You will find the website in the article familiar to you... it's a one pager

    Run, run, run.
