Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Have a problem sending email when using wireless on the iphone. If I stick with 3G, it's fine. I can receive emails no problem.

    Outgoing server is stmp.o2.ie

    Any ideas?
There's no problem with gmail /yahoo etc

When you say 'wireless', do you mean the Wi-Fi broadband in your own home?

You will need to use your broadband network provider's SMTP server for outgoing e-mail.

o2 might restrict their outgoing mail (smtp) server use to those who are connected to them directly (through the use of an o2 dongle, for instance).

Solution: use a different email provider, use their web mail client, or use a different smtp server when you're sending mail.

Outgoing smtp on port 25 will be blocked except for your providers own smtp server, its how providers do their bit to combat spam, use their server or try the alternative port 587, it sometimes works.
