Hey guys n girls, new to boards.ie. From what i have seen is that it looks like the place to go for any questions on aritech alarms. So the craic is we've just bought a house and basicaly theres a system that had been in place, i will get the model code a.s.a.p. There is contacts on the windows and what looks to be like a panic button in the main bedroom. Alarm is de-activated so im just wondering is, the only option a call out? Or is there another way of getting it up and running? Bearing in mind i don't know who the original engineer would have been? Appreciate any advice.

Might be worth getting it looked at, you have to ask why was it decommissioned in the first place.

It would not be a big job to get it up and running depending on what issues where with the panel that it was powered down. Could of being any number of problems so only an engineer call out give you an insight into what needs to be done.
