Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Transfer speeds between 2 hard drives

    At the moment I'm Transfering roughly 500gb from one drive (7200rpm) Sata to another drive (5400rpm) Sata.. Both connected to my desktop running ububtu 11.04 from a USB flash drive.. Both drives are idle but the speed I'm getting is max 20MB/s. This just seems a little slow considering that I have a USB transfer cable that I've seen reach almost 30MB/s is there a war if speeding this up? I though using a Sata interface would be quicker than USB
