Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Iv been to a few marts and i have been talking to a few farmers and the have been saying things like '500 with the weight' or '600 with the weight'

    Can anybody tell me what 'with the weight' means?

    Means in addition to their weight in kilos. e.g. if a 500kg bullock is sold for €1000, then that is '500 with the weight'. (In this example it is also €2 per kilo which is quite dear but commonplace these days.)

    Ah come on, €2 per kilo is very cheap at today's prices. ;)

    it wouldn't even cover the cost of gatting the animal that far!!!

    am i think that nice round figure of 2 was just used as an example
