    Try the Paranormal forum. Write a story about how you were coming back from the pub one night when you saw lots of lights in the sky. Say that they were moving an a way unlike any plane that you know of and that they definitely weren't chinese lanterns. Extra points for abduction and probing subplots.

    You can switch UFO's to ghosts if you like for another twist.

    You could also go to the Psychics and Mediums forum and pretend to be a fortune teller. Read through some of the previous threads to get an idea about the terminology and the copouts for when you are wrong. Try not to be too specific and you should be OK.

    Just remember that you might feel guilty about it so only proceed of you don't mind taking advantage of vulnerable people.

    I have given that some thought. I think if the troll is going to be any good there will inevitably be collateral damage. I'd be fairly relaxed about someone getting worked up what is written on an internet forum though.
