Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of a difference of opinion going on here at the moment

Regarding SFP/DAA I'm looking for information on stocking rates, is the upper limit calculated on the highest level over the year or on an average of the month by month or how is it calculated??

Also.. Calves under 6 months, how are these calculated is it 0 or 0.6 LU's each

    Thanks...

Don't know about the Dept, but Teagasc's profit monitor works on the average for 12 months.

You'll find their definitions here (scroll down a bit).

there are no upper limits on stocking rates for DAA or SFP. there is a minimum rate of 0.15lu per ha i think. Only the nitrates directive causes problems with stocking rates calculated at kgs of N per Ha
