    Hi

    I'm unemployed and can no longer afford my o2 broadband but have 8 months left in my contract and have been told il need to pay 20euro *8 to cancel does anyone know can you get out of contracts if your unemployed

    No, there is no such exemption.

    If O2 change the terms of the contract, or they fail to provide the service you pay for, then you can cancel without penalty. If there's nothing wrong though, then you have to continue paying, or pay the penalty.
