Had a fancy of wondering what people like for their fry-up brekkie in the mornin' :)

    Mines are;

    Bacon
    Fried Eggs (wobbly)
    Lorne Sausages
    Beans
    Tattie Scones
    Fried Toast
    Black Pudding
    Browwwwn Sauce...lovely

(and If I'm in a hurry, Bacon, Tattie Scones and Egg in a Morning Roll (not a Blaa though. Morning rolls are bigger :D)

(I'm scottish aswell so a Lorne Sausage is basically a square-shaped sausage meat sliced, traditional where I'm from. And tattie scones are thin bits of potato covered in soft oatcake. A bit like potato cakes/farls in Ireland)

Gotta have the mushrooms in there with all the regulars (bacon, sausage, egg, pudding).

Beef sausages, beans, fried eggs, potato bread, half a soda bread, trimmed bacon (or don't mind a bit of fat so long as it's crispy) and plum tomatoes.... with brown sauce and pepper... washed down with a mammoth mug of tea. Heavenly.

I'm very partial to a couple of kippers with a poached egg (or two) with brown bread and tea.

Failing that, the usual of rashers, sausages, pudding, eggs, tomato, mushrooms. Just no beans. Never beans. Polluting the plate with that noxious "sauce".

"Black pudding, blood pudding or blood sausage is a type of sausage made by cooking blood or dried blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled."

Never could eat that ****. Seeing other people is bad enough, with blood all round their mouth and teeth. wtf

    Beef sausages

Oh no....must be pork for me.

Two grilled sausages, two grilled rashers, mushrooms fried in butter & oil, two poached eggs topped with salt and pepper, one large grilled tomato, good quality beans, two white toast with butter, large milky coffee/tea.

    Orange juice beforehand too.

    Perfect

Sounds lovely, what would you do with the spinach? I might have a veggie fry-up soon!

Does no one have scrambled/poached instead of fried eggs?

Yes, I much prefer scrambled over fried... or mashed hard boiled egg with melted butter...

Sausages, cooked then split down the middle & cooked in the inside as well (terrified of undercookied sossies), crispy bacon, scrambled eggs (no egg water) & proper american style hashbrowns. Hot toast, preferably toasted seeded bread, with real butter

An entire bar of different sauces to go with

just saute it in a little butter. Like to dump the mushrooms on a bed of rocket with a little balsamic vinegar if I've no spinach.

Not the greatest fan of scrambled eggs. but enjoy an occassional poached egg. I'm guessing that it just that fries are so bold that you may as well go the whole way and douse the egg in copious amounts of grease too. :)

When I make scrambled or poached eggs that is the breakfast. There's also french toast as well - nyom nyom. With my own hens I've no shortage of eggs so they're a regular staple.

If it's a fry-up then the eggs are fried too.

    Fryup plate:
Fried egg - fried on both sides but still a runny yoke.
    2 back bacon
    2 pork sausages
2 Birds Eye waffles. I'd actually prefer soda farls but only Tesco have them in my town and I only go in to that obscenity of a shop if there's a life at stake.
Fried tomato for herself - I'm not a fan.
If it's a late breakfast (i.e. hangover one) maybe throw in a minute steak or a lamb chop.
Add in some wheaten bread, oj and a good chinese or indian black tea and off you go.

Usually 2 poached eggs, 2 grilled rashers, 2 slices of mccambridges or 1 slice of superquinn's seans brown. Yum yum.

    If I was going the whole hog;

    Poached eggs
    Rashers - grilled
Hicks or superquinn saussies - georgie
    Hicks white pudding - georgie
    Mushrooms - georgie
    Steak - fried
Would put beans on for the others but I'm not too bothered.

I almost never have this exact combo, maybe once a year. But it's perfection itself, mmm.

Firstly, you've got to be starving, and preferably the weather is cold. And there's a big pot of strong tea brewing. :)

    2 Superquinn or Clonakilty sausages
2-3 slices of thin cut hickory or maple cured bacon
2 slices of old fashioned butcher-style white pudding
1 large free range organic fried egg, over easy with a runny yolk
Lots of mushrooms, fried in a little butter and oil
A large tablespoon of baked beans
A mound of fried potatoes (peeled, boiled, sliced and pan-fried) and sprinkled with salt and vinegar
    White bread and real butter
    Ketchup on the side

Eat, then retire to bed or the couch and snooze blissfully for an hour

Blood all around their mouth and teeth because they're eating black pudding?? Did someone perchance punch them in the face due to some breakfast-related argument?

Sausage and bacon from the butchers - never processed sh1te
    Scambled egg
    Roasted cherry tomatoes
    Flat mushrooms
Homemade pancakes drizzled with maple syrup
    Toast
    Tea

    That's us every weekend! :)

I have many times in the past bought half each of black and white pudding, fried that up and eaten with nothing on it. No toast or anything. The pudding has to be from the butchers though, none of that nonsense full of grain that you get in the fridge at a supermarket.

If I am having a full out fry up (haven't had one in god knows how long):

    Sausages (anything with +80% pork)
    Rashers (back and streaky)
    Black&White Pudding ( as above)
    Fried Eggs (at least 2)
Mushrooms ( prefferable small button fried whole)
Fried bread (fried in the juices produced from the meat above)
Rake of home made soda bread covered in butter.
    Scalding hot mug of Tae.

Jaysus, I must have that some day soon.

    2 Superquinn Sausages (54% pork)
Rashers (back and streaky... no fecking streaky in Superquinn yesterday )
    White Pudding (loads)
    Scrambled Egg
Slice of brown bread and slice of white

    Litre of Supermilk

Optional couple of hash browns and fried potatoes.

+1 but have to have my Mam's wheaten soda bread with proper butter too.

    Sausages,
    rashers(non smoked please),
white pudding (don't like black, it's not the blood, I just don't like it)
    mushrooms
    tomato
    poached egg
a spice burger halved and fried
fried bread (something I rarely have, but love)
    toast with real butter
    fresh OJ
Tea - either some Assam real leaf tea, or failing that, if it's teabags, it has to be Lyons, none of that Cork Barry's shíte

I like baked beans, bit thy aren't really fry material for me, I wouldn't quibble with them on my plate, I'd eat them, but I wouldn't choose them.

    Streaky bacon
big thick sausages (the herb flavoured ones)
scrambled eggs with black pudding crumbs mixed in
    white pudding
MUSHROOMS fried in garlic and butter
    hashbrowns
    plum tomato

lots of toast but you have to leave the plate of toast cool down so when you butter it, it won't melt

..and a big bodum of coffee

sit back and work through the palpatations!
