Netopia works Zyxel doesn't.

to cut a really long story short, i have "broadband" from eircom. the speeds were crap getting know where near 1mb. after much complaining and faults they did something to it which boosted it to about .5mb. i had an old netopia router (silver) which would work since they boosted it, but the zyxel wouldnt connect. they said…

i had an old netopia router (silver) which would work since they boosted it, but the zyxel wouldnt connect.

they said the router must be damaged and sent out a new Zyxel. however this still wont work but the netopia one is working fine.

anyone know whats going on here?

i dont really care as long as it works and can live with .5mb as long as its stable.
