Total Noobs hack is the easiest way:

1: Update to firmware 6.20 (download here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1855)

2: Connect your PSP to your computer and put that update file on the root(first folder) of the memory stick

3: Go to your PSP and install the firmware update by going to the game section.

4: Watch this video:

It is very hard these days, to get plain simple instructions for the PSP. I have been googling for "tutorials" and other such instructions, for quite some time. These are very simple and easy to follow.

you can cfw any psp model up to 6.39
have a look for 6.39 PRO-B6 at dashhacks

eta: you can easily downgrade, no need for a pandora these days !
