Any one ever kept these? I have read that they don't need much space and people keep them in large rabbit cages.

Should they keep kept inside? Do need space to roam?

Are they hard to look after? Expensive?

I keep a trio indoors in a space of about 7ft x 4ft.They would fly off if they were let outdoors.Theres about 4ins of peatmoss on the floor which they dust bathe in.They are fed a diet of chick pellets which costs less than €10. for a 25kg sack. Plus some greens. The two hens are laying every day for the last two months. If you want some eggs to hatch your own PM me. Hope this helps.
