Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im looking to buy a laptop and this is the one Ive settled on.

    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Samsung_R540_1055339.html

Just wondering will I be able to connect a monitor to this? I have a 24inch Samsung syncmaster and I want to be able to connect it to the laptop.

You can connect it to your monitor one of two ways. You can connect it using the VGA out. You can also use an HDMI cable if your Samsung has an HDMI input. Both work just the same way really, the advantage of HDMI is that it also sends the audio signal. Chances are that your monitor won't have built in speakers, so its not really relevant.

Cheers, one more quick question. Is saveonlaptops a secure site?

I clicked through to the checkout area of the site. It then changes and.becomes secure. If you look at the address.bar at the top of the page, you can tell if the site is secure as the address will change from http: to https:. The added "s" signifies its secure. There is also a padlock icon somewhere on the screen. I'm using my phone to type this, so can't check myself.
