Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I grew up on a fair bit of koolaid but I doubt I could drink it now. Too sweet.

I don't get the appeal of Kraft Mac & Cheese. We get much better stuff here to be honest. We used to get a fantastic frozen mac and cheese in Supervalu and I know we can get some good canned stuff. The Kraft one is nasty.

That said, any mac and cheese with a load of hot sauce is divine. Yeah I love my hot sauce....

    Oh Holy Jesus...

    Not cheap, but I want!!!!

And they have CANS of Dr. Pepper!!!!!!

That root beer is available in a lot of Asian stores - have a look if there are any near you.

For all those cherry coke and beef jerky fans, there is a shop in maynooth that sells both. Nisa in Greenfield shopping centre. Cherry coke about € 2 for a 2 litre bottle..yum yum

    CHEAP CHERRY COKE!!!!!

Is this normally more expensive than "ordinary" coke? as they have 24 cans of "ordinary" and"diet" coke in Dunnes for €7.99

The water where I live is not drinkable ,almost non-potable.

I was delighted to be able to order water on amazon ,saves carrying the stuff home from the shops.

Goddamnit.. some amazing prices on bulk-paying Oreos right now on Amazon, but they won't ship them here. Probably due to weight! :(

    Oreo Cookies Rollpack Chocolate 154 g (Pack of 16) - £7.36 / €9
    41pXKvohWoL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

    Oreo Cookies Rollpack Vanilla 154 g (Pack of 16) - £7.36 / €9
    41HUJflGk7L._SL500_AA300_.jpg

    Oreo Double Stuff 185 g (Pack of 12) - £8.91 / €10
    41UkLaf-lyL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

And last, but not least (especially for work coffee-breaks)..

    Oreo Cookies Vanilla 176 g (Pack of 12) - £5.57 / €7
    51IpKz-FbRL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
(each box contains 4 snack packs with 4 Oreo's in each, and you're getting 12 boxes / 48 snack packs / 192 Oreo's in total)!

    Goddamnit Amazon! :(

    No fair :(
There's shag all Reese's peanut butter cup stuff sold by Amazon. Just the other week I had my basket full of about £40 worth of peanut butter cups, miniatures, WHITE chocolate PBCs (hamana hamana hamana!) etc.
Went to checkout and shipping was £70 and there was a few bits they just wouldn't ship to Ireland.
Ditto on the Lavazza modo mio coffee pods.
Got my hopes up again when I saw this thread. FML.

Water in puddles and ponds is free, but I wouldn't drink it. Water that comes from the taps is stored in managed resevoirs, goes through a filtration & flouride process, travels miles through a pipe system and comes out of your tap instantly - and costs money.

At any one time there are several washing powder offers on in all stores - espcially on the tablets & liquids. - I dont; think I've ever bought a washing powder or dish powder that did not have at least 33% off or 100% extra free.

Could be too heavy? What item were you trying?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,200 ✭✭✭moonboy52

If people are ordering water then that must be well heavy.

Other items cannot be as heavy as water can they?

I am looking forward to some great bargains though in the coming months.

They got some damn fine wines in there seriously cheap. Would that get nabbed by customs on the way in I wonder?

Most of the stuff wont go through. Seems a bit stupid to be honest seeing as most of their groceries are Bulk therefore will obviously be fairly heavy.

I still dont understand why Amazon dont have some sort of Irish base or website. Clearly there is a huge market here but they seem content at the Irish public being only able to purchase a limited type of item and charged a lot for shipping.

They do have their hosting operations here and they are expanding that cos they recently purchased the old tesco warehouse in greenhills.

Makes sense... Last package I got from Amazon using the super saver delivery (orders over £25) was posted to me from Dublin.

    And the return address is:
    Amazon
    PO Box 10361
    Dublin 17
