Apologies in advance if this has been addressed in a previous thread (had a quick look through the first half dozen pages here and couldn't see any reference to my problem).
When I hit the pause button on my Foxsat box while watching BBC1 and go into timeshift mode and then resume viewing, I'm getting subtitles on screen. Oddly enough, after trying about half a dozen channels, the problem only appears to be on BBC1 (HD variant and ''regular''). Anybody else experiencing the same problem? I tried timeshifting on a Sky box in another room and there is no problem there.

    It's a known Humax bug.

Yup, known bug, but there's a workaround. When you have the unwanted subtitles, press Menu > Settings > Language > Subtitle Display - Now select Enable and then Disable again. Exit menu. Sorted.

Sorry about the delay in replying ctg. Been out all morning chasing up a part for my jalopy. Thanks for the heads up; it works. However, I notice that if you timeshift again later on, the subtitles are back again. Any permanent solutions out there?
