    Hang on a minute, this thread is about the 15 exchanges promised Broadband by eircom Executive Chairman Pierre Danon nearly 6 years ago. New Inn (neither the Tipp or Galway New Inns) were ever promised broadband that I know of, along with another 240 exchanges at least that eircom intend to ignore.

    sure even in big towns DSL broadband is S*ite, i have 4096 / 384 which is not great. :mad:

    If we had n't sold Eircom the identity to a private company. the country might have a decent broadband service by now. 2012 we have to continue with a bankrupt company overcharging us and getting away with it.

    Almost 6 years since these were promised basic ADSL 1 'up to 8mbit' services by eircom Chairman Pierre Danon. Still no ADSL.

    The Following areas are now 6 Years Waiting for basic broadband from eircom so don't hold out too many hopes if your area is promised broadband after 2014 as it will more than likely be abandoned just like this rollout was.

    eircom have never apologised to the people in these areas for the delays and the lies and the coming soon BS. Nor will eircom give them a date when they will carry out their promise from April 2007.
