I don't think I pointed out my personal reasons.
I don't think I worked hard enough to get my potential. I could easily get 500 points if I started working in September rater than May. I picked my course at the start of the year and it is 390/400 points, I worked to get that amount of points.
I don't agree with the point that you are not more mature. Two months can make a huge difference.
Also another reason is that this recession will take a while to get out of. The longer we spend at education the better.

I'm thinking of repeating but I'm 18 now and will be 19 during the summer. If I repeat I'll be 19 doing the LC the second time and 20 going to college!

I'd love to repeat but I think I'm too old :(

you're not too old! I know a girl who repeated this year and she was 20 in April but she looks about 17. I turned 18 in May so I'll be 19 doing the leaving next year. I used to care that I'd be too old going into college but a year doesn't really matter :)

regarding where I'd repeat, I'm not sure because there is only one school that specialises in a repeat year near where I live.

And to be honest, I'm not trying to be cocky or anything but I know I could get 500 points too, the original aim was 530 but I'd be lucky to get 300 in August, no joke..

What subjects would you recommend taking up?

geography, maths ,business (I do those currently) an take up classical studies, economics, biology and maybe spanish.

Are you thinking of taking up four new subjects? that would be so much pressure and yourself cause remember you have to cram 2 years of a subject into one? and also the maths will be changed cause it will be project maths, have you ever done Spanish before?

Geographys not one of the ones I'm picking up. I might just leave it at 3 and leave out spanish . I had a look at the exams they don't look too bad. I only want to do IT most are around 300pts.

Yeah but geography is a subject you can pick up easy marks from :) and plus you a fiels study so that 20 % already :)

Biology would be very hard to do in one year as it is such a big course like most people even find it hard to do in two years, but thats just my advice :)

Yeah I'm keeping geography I'm doing that for my LC this year, or leave out biology and do the other 3 . Then do 5 honours and have maths and spanish as ordinary.

I might leave out biology if it's really , I only done science in the jc. Then it's only the economics , spanish , classical studies I'm taking up. I'd like spanish. I wouldn't do french I know I won't work at it I just hate it. I've always preferred spanish and more likely to put in the effort :).
