Salt are back with their first International act of the year presenting George FitzGerald at The Underground @ Kennedys on the 25th of June, playing a two hour set for his debut appearance in Ireland. Citing eclectic influences over a variety of genres, his sets span a diverse range of techno, house, garage, dubstep and everything in between.

The melodic synths and soulful vocal samples used throughout his music are a FitzGerald signature, one which caught the attention of both Scuba and Doldrums head Joy Orbison. George began to attract more attention, playing the Bloc festival in 2010 after his single Dont You?! was previewed on Scuba's SUB:STANCE mix. It was June 2010 when he was catapulted into the spotlight after his debut single The Let Down was released on the globally renowned Hotflush Recordings. Subsequent releases include Painted Jezebel on Giles Peterson's Brownswood Electric, his second Hotflush single Dont You?!, and his infamous white label remix of Groove Theory's Tell Me. He also has a forthcoming release on Will Saul's Aus Music label and is involved with the upcoming ManMakeMusic label.

George has recently played in Miami, at Fabric, dropped a set at the Boiler Room live broadcast and has shows coming up at Berghain and at Outlook Festival. Seems like it’s going to be very busy year for one of London's most exciting producers.

Following on from well received gigs with Scuba and Shackleton in 2010, Salt are proud to welcome George FitzGerald for his first ever performance in Ireland. Support will be provided by homegrown talent, Redahan and Brian Mc Coy. Visuals from Kate Mc Carroll and AV KID.
