I use 3 and it costs me around €23 a month. I'm satisfied enough with it; the connection when I was using an Eircom landline was hopeless, so I got rid of the whole landline as soon as the 3 coverage reached my rural area of the Midlands. I only use it for e-mail and surfing the Internet, rarely downloading music or anything like that.:)

Not bad, but If OP can get UPC they'll get 12Mb + phone for €31 and you'll get a good download limit. However, if you don't download much, then 3/Meteor/Vodafone/O2 would be alright if the signal is strong...

I have a Vodafone dongle (living in Letterkenny) and the bloody thing can barely load a YouTube video. I find it absolutely awful. Definitely see if you can trial it before you buy if you're going for mobile broadband.

    120GB officially

Also they don't rape you if you go over the limit in the way that 3G providers do. IICRC the worst they do is up you to the next package and not without warning you.

    Location , Location , Location.

There are many local providers of fixed wireless. Ask in the local computer repair shop. Wasn't Dungarvin or somewhere down there the first place to have uber fast broadband because of a local cable company ?

/My bad - OP should posted in http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056100232
