Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When cattle are going to the factory they have to be under 30 months right? Well why?

No they don't HAVE to be James but there is usually a few pennies more for them if they are , I think it is to do with them then being eligible for more premium markets. Having said that , now that finished cattle are scarce factories are not as fussy about ages as when they are plentiful.

It goes back to the days of the BSE outbreak. Cattle over 30days had to be tested for BSE. I has stuck ever since as a kind of cut-off point for 'young' versus 'old' cattle.
