Theres so many to choose from, though I reckon Bohemian Rhapsody is definitely up there but Beethovens Moonlight Sonata is the shit. Whats your favourite tune on piano?.

It's a cliché, but it's very hard to beat Claire de Lune.

    Träumerei/Reverie by Schumann.

Look on YouTube for Horowitz playing it as an encore in Moscow 1986. I can never get enough of it.

While it's difficult to make a definitive choice, this live version of Skimming Stones by Sleepthief is definitely one of the most beautiful piano songs I've ever heard:

Here is the original for comparison. You should probably listen to this first to get a feel for the melody:

Frederic Chopin - Nocturne and Ludovico Einaudi - Primavera come to mind (although Primavera has other instruments in it aside from the Piano so maybe it shouldn't count).

Don't know if it's the best ever but a pretty nice piano piece all the same: Yiruma - 'River Flows in You' . As far as I know, its in that 'Twlight' show

    Tupac - Changes

Eh ... you do know that's just a sample of a prior hit song, right? Tupac had nothing to do with it?

Some wonderful choices there......John Cale in particular,i love that man! that whole "Fragments.." album is great too

I have a Debussy piano boxset, any thing off that at random is a contender

One of the first things that came to mind though was "One For My Baby" by Sinatra

Im going for a slightly more recent one, though Id forgotten all about Damaged by Primal Scream, used to love that song. Sad song, but a classic! :)

Avril14 by Aphex Twin was an unexpected creation from him, was used in Four Lions as the exit music too. Perfect. Easily one of my Favorite Aphex tunes.

Always had a liking for Riders On The Storm and stuff that Ray Manzarek composed while Jim was alive but I just thought this man has turned this song into something beautiful.

It might not be up there with the likes of Claire Du Lune or Bohemian Rhapsody but its still good.
