Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Folks

Looking to get HD TV into the main sitting room with just a once off charge and no monthly subscription.

Excuse my ignorance as i know nothing about Digital TV :) but i have a question. My house mate has just got sky TV into his bedroom but Sky wont let me get it into the main sitting room without a landline which i dont want!

Can i buy a HD sataellite receiver and get someone to connect it to the sky dish....is this possible? Your feedback and advice much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Scott

You could run a cable from the dish to your room and put in a freesat receiver!!!!...provided your mate doesn't mind

    Easiest option.

Plenty of cheap Freesat HD receivers out there which pick up BBC HD, BBC1 HD, ITV HD and C4 HD.

You may have to change your LNB on the satellite dish if there are no free outputs.

If you really want Sky (e.g. for sports) you can take out a full sub without a phone line (i.e. not multiroom).
