    Hi all,

I applied for a 1yr full time masters course in DIT, which I have been offered. It was mentioned by a friend there may be some funding available to study as a mature student. I am finding it quite complex to find solid information on funding and mature student grants. My background is: I am 25, living at home and about 150km from the college. Could somebody help in relation to clarifying the situation i.e. is there funding? with my details could I be eligible? where can I apply?

    Thank you,

    Benny

You could apply for a grant - this would be means tested on your parents income because you live at home

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
