PS3 vs Xbox???

    So I plan on getting a Ps3 or an xbox for the summer to keep me busy after this l.c! Which is better and why!? ..I want serious points on why which one is better because I don't want to regret what I buy! And since this is in a xbox forum I don't want you favoring one to another :P

    Theres a massive thread on the games forum about PS3 v 360.
    What are you going to be using it for? Multi or single player?
    What else do you want from it? Blu ray etc.
    Have you looked at the exclusives on each console? Which to prefer?
    Have you owned the last generation of consoles? Like ps2 or xbox?

    Probably a bit of both but not half as much multiplayer tbh! Have all I need for graphics set up etc aswell! Yeah I'm swayin more towards Ps3 but there are 1 or 2 other games I like with the Xbox! Have owned all generation of playstation but I'm not really sure about the set up of Ps3 e.g how does memory work and all!

    Ps3 mainly! I sway towards certain car games e.g decent drifting ones! bit of fifa, games like far cry and cod! Whatever sounds interesting to me except all of that zombie and harry potter craic! :P

    Google the two.
    Read the specs of both
    Buy what one you like.

    They are both the same. Both are just as good as the other. The PS3 has a blu ray player which is why i bought it. But you wont find a PS3 as cheap as an xbox.

    Xbox controller is much more comfortable for an adult sized hand IMO
