Job posting query

I feel like this is probably a stupid question but here I go anyway - looking at some job postings in the paper and a few schools don't disclose their exact address and supply a 'Box No.'. Can anyone tell me how you actually address applications to these schools? Just 'Box No. ####' - seems like there should be more...

God it's been years since I've applied to one of them but I remember being totally confused by it. I think you address it to box no XX, and then the address of the newspaper it was advertised in

Yup, box number and then the address of the paper.

I personally do not write to schools like that. its bad enough that you have to use snail mail, but a mystery school! you seldom get as much as an acknowledgement from box no. applications.

I disagree. I got a permanent job out of a box number application and I know that another school that recently advertised with a box number has been conducting interviews.
