I was in London a few months back. I could not believe how many teenagers and 20-somethings had Blackberry devices. I doubt many were issued them by corporate IT departments! :)

I'm a long time blackberry user (since 2004) and love them (BIS not BES). There's not much I cant do that an iphone and android device can do. I dont play games and I love the physical keyboard. And email is great on the device.

but what can you do that an Android or iPhone can't? Also I don't get this email thing? Email works great on both those phone?

    I don't get it either.

Why is BB so popular? What makes it popular?

iOS, Android, even WP7, I can understand, but BB!?....

Some people say it's BBM - Blackberry Messenger that is so popular among teens. Interesting how iOS 5 and iMessage will affect that.

Last close to a week with my battery on a single charge ;)
Best email out there in my mind at least
Compress data to make my allowance go further then most others
    Top notch security
    And a glorious keyboard.

I don't open an app to use email. Email is native to the device. It's hard to describe without showing you.

Keyboard is about the only thing listed of any significance in that list but you can get an android or WP7 with full keyboards too. I'm not sold on the email either, I never had any problems with it on windows mobile exchange for years, or on Android and its actually reaches my WP7 quicker than my PC!! :pac:
