Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poor decision from Levein to leave Kenny Miller on for so long. He never looked like scoring, while he lets a bang-in-form goal machine like Jordan Rhodes sit on the bench for all but the last ten minutes.

What was with the booing of Ivanovich?

You sure, wiki has the game down as being played in the Northern sea port of Barranquilla so the altitude should be close to zero.

Guess i should check and not assume it was Bogota

Belgium V Croatia could be a decent game. Also wondering if Hungary can upset Holland.

He made a few comments in the media before the game saying Scotland are a one-dimensional , long ball team who can't play football on the deck. more or less. Enough to get booed anyway!!

Luxembourg could spring an upset up north. They did brilliantly well against Portugal. Could see some sort of shock happening there. Hopefully wrong about that!

Think the Croats will take a result of sorts from Belgium tonight, haven't been convinced as of yet that this Belgium team are more than just a group of talented individuals. Think they'll come good eventually but performances in competitive games are still pretty disjointed.

Looking forward to Chile vs Columbia, think Chile's lack of weekend fixture and exceptional home form will see them pick up 3 points tonight, at their best I think only Spain play more fluid attacking football than them in world football, been the standout team in SA qualifying thus far, but Columbia will be brimming with confidence after their trouncing of Uruguay on Friday.

Australia losing to Jordan was a surprise to me.

I've always wondered if/when the next time Australia don't qualify for a World Cup, will they have any regrets about joining Asia and would they ever ask FIFA to be reinstated back into Oceania.

Can't see them ever going back to Oceania. They're in AFC to improve as a team and they'd lose that factor if they went back to playing Solomon Islands and whoever else.

Also technically Aus returning to Oceania wouldn't be a guarantee of qualification anyway.

For instance Australia won every single Oceania tournament between 1986-2006 (apart from 1990 when Israel were in Oceania) and still only qualified for the finals once due to difficult play-off ties.

As it is they're 1 for 1 in AFC. I'd nearly go as far as to say that over time AFC is an easier route to the finals for Oz than Oceania.

Scotland are losing 1-0 at home to Macedonia.

Levein is f*cked if this result remains the same.

Chile a goal up vs Columbia but Medel has been sent off(harshly apparently), be doing well to hold on to the lead now.

2:1 Germany in the end, a bit lucky from what I heard. Still, a win is a win ;)

Yep, Lampard stuck it away from the spot after one of the Ukranians handled in the box.

After two rounds it looks like Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are gone already with a combined total of 0 wins 3 draws and 3 defeats from 6 games.

Surely Craig Levein will get the road after only taking 2 points from 6 @ Hampden. Jordan Rhodes will have to take some flak for that miss though.

Yeah, surprising. I'd say Georgia are pretty content with that. I imagine they feared a drubbing.

Speaking of drubbings I just noticed Brazil stuffed China 8-0 with Neymar getting a hat-trick; Ramires, Lucas, Hulk, Oscar and an O.G. made up the others. I'd say they'll be treating friendlies very seriously with them being hosts and all.

Aussies threatening to make a mess of a fairly straighforward looking group, 2 points from 3 games.

I'd just like to congratulate the North on nicking a point off superior opposition.
