yes i think its the near the deserted village.

I remember as a child, gathering enough amethysts out of it to have a bracelet made for my mum. Think somebody on the island had a business doing it.

Yep..it's out by the deserted village...remember taking photos of it years ago...if memory serves there was a big red metal water pump thing rotting away there...I'll try and root out a photo and scan it in if no-one else can get one first....
