Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

computer system: A functional unit, consisting of one or more computers and associated software, that (a) uses common storage for all or part of a program and also for all or part of the data necessary for the execution of the program, (b) executes user-written or user-designated programs, and (c) performs user-designated data manipulation, including arithmetic and logic operations. Note: A computer system may be a stand-alone system or may consist of several interconnected systems. Synonyms ADP system, computing system.

So in summary, you are also working with a computer system by accessing boards (assuming you are not using a mobile phone... even then its still trivial)

    ;)

Sweet f**k all. What are they trying to sell to you, what are you trying to get them to do? It sounds like you want to buy a computer, and a friend of a friend once took a PC out of a box and hooked it up, and now knows how to "work with systems".

Unless you tell us what you are on about, "work with systems" means the same as "paints walls with a brush".

Perhaps the person is a Systems Analyst which is somewhat more specific.
