Hey guys I'm looking to build a decent Gaming PC this Summer, but I'm not too sure about what I need. I was thinking maybe:
    Core i5
    6-8gb ram
    1TB Hdd
But I'm not sure about the rest :p (Especially the Graphics Card)
Have all the peripherals but upgrade suggestions would be appreciated!
Hoping to make a few bob this Summer so maybe a budget of €800-€850?
If this won't do I might stretch :p
    Thanks in advance!
    Emmet

Where do you get the Windows 7 for 45e?

You need to have a student in your family, or know a student to get it.

Thought it was only college students at first but I was wrong! 2nd level is fine!

Thinking the R3 is the best option now.
Also, had a good look through your list (which I am very grateful for) and was wondering about the fan. Is the stock cooler in the i5 not sufficient? I'm not thinking of overclocking by the way. Thanks

Asides from this, I think I'll be getting most of whats on this list!

If you don't want to overclock then you can save a lot of money by getting a H61/H67 board and an i5-2400 instead.

Thats a decent reduction thanks! The only reason I don't eant to overclock is extreme fear :P

Overclocking with the 2500K is very easy and gives a nice increase with low risk - you should give it a go - even a small overclock.

You should try it out, I am, or perhaps get the msi mobo with the overclock button.

at a quick glance to decs build, no im not going to count, it seems a lot less than 780?
Edit: sorry, saw it;s just a forgotten 1 on the gfx :)

And would the PSU be suitable for overclocking this?

Yeah, you'll be fine as long as you're not going overboard. 4GHz should be easy enough with good cooling like that. You'll still have room left over.

If I wanted to play Battlefield 3, would this be okay to play it on?

You should have no problems playing on max settings :)
