Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Say if you did Arts in first year can you change courses and do something else in second year. I presume its too late to apply now is it??

You'd have to do 1st year of whatever course you want to switch into unless the two courses had modules in common.

You need to reapply through the CAO. You have until July 22nd. Paper application and need it stamped by the admissions office.

What is in common with Arts???

Nothing really, certain courses have joint 1st years (genetics and biological and chemical sciences) so switching between them is easy enough and I know a guy who moved from 3rd year dentistry to 3rd year microbiology but had to do 2nd year micro labs during 3rd year to ensure he had the basics covered.

You'd have to do your own research as to what if anything you could transfer into.
