Road block in Mallow??

Passed the Cork road roundabout on my way home about 4ish and the road to Cork was blocked (as in a Garda car parked across the two lanes) at the roundabout, just popped down town there and see its still blocked.

Anybody no why?

A VAN DRIVER in his 50s is in a critical condition in hospital after his vehicle collided with a truck in Co Cork earlier today.

The incident happened near an exit on the N20 road about two miles outside Mallow at 3pm.

Gardaí said the van driver is currently in a critical condition in Cork University Hospital but the man behind the wheel of the truck was uninjured.

The road was closed for a forensic collision examination for several hours which caused severe traffic disruption on the main Cork to Limerick road and gardai advised motorists to avoid the area and to take alternative routes.

Investigating officers at Mallow Garda Station appealed for witnesses to the collision.

Sup man.

Misses was stuck after work for ages in traffic. She knew there was some accsidemt, but did not knew details.
