Plug Socket/Surge Protector

Just looking for a bit of advice please.

In the TV room, I would have a TV,Sky Digital Box,Blu-Ray Player,Media Player and a Playstation all hooked up together - so bascially all working off the TV.

Should I be investing in a surge protector which would also incorporate a good few sockets on it?

belkin do a nice single in and out units, they plug into your socket and you can plug you training (extension ) lead into it. I have belkin ones in my house, twin socket UPC box straight on to the socket and the rest of the gear off the extension lead fed by the belkin surge protection unit.
You should get better value at www.cpc.co.uk where you'll get a make for this money, plus you might be paying for telephone surge units on this that you cant use, (UK connections) I'm not a fan of those big plastic units, there are mostly air, I'd get a decent make or leave it out altogether.

something to condition and filter along with surge protection could be bought for that money

(note I'm fairly sure the unit you have linked to is masterplug too) this unit is about £15 ex postage
