Pan Fried Garlic Potatoes

    Always get these in a resteraunt when Im getting steak but anytime I try and make them its never a success. Does anyone have a good recipe or method?

    Boil some potatoes. Slice or chunk. Get a frying pan hot with oil, butter and lots of minced/ diced/ crushed garlic. Throw the potatoes in there and finish the cooking there. Get them nice and crusty. You could also put them back in a roasting tray to finish in the oven or in the frying pan itself.

    Edit: don't forget a bit of salt.

    Better to leave the garlic out until near the end as it's way more likely to burn.

    Or just make garlic butter and pour it over the fried potatoes.
