I can't believe it. He's such a nice man and it was a class shop. Hopefully he'll be back trading somewhere in the future.

It's the fruit and veg shop in Eyre Square shopping centre. It was awesome.

I never heard if it..maybe he should've advertised more. Were his prices competitive?

Did you hear it from himself?

Yeah. He said it's costing him too much. He's finishing this weekend, maybe even today.

Oh no! That is such a great spot. Hope he opens somewhere else. The rent and rates in galway city need to come down so great local businesses like mr beans can survive...

That ramp seems to be cursed! Most shops seem to have a lifetime of maybe a year or more and that's it.

I was also in there today and he said he's closing because it's so expensive to do business in the city centre... such a pity :( will miss that place

Gutted loved that place. Rent needs to be reduced the amount of empty premises is a joke

He was real sad about it too. The rates are a disgrace.
It was the only place I went for my fruit and veg. Quality stuff.

I never heard of the shop, but pity to hear it's closing down.

I very much like Terryland Fruit and Veg, but it's rather far out for some people!

    What terrible news!

I thought something must be up when the shop was closed on Thursday.

It was such a class place-it had an excellent variety of fruit & veg-you could get things there that you couldnt get anywhere else in town and he himself seemed like such a nice guy.

Poor Mr Beans, I hope he sets up somewhere else soon.

    BB :(

Went in there the other day to get some herbs and he said to me not to bother buyin cause he hadn't got any new ones in due to him trying to wrap up the shop.

He seemed pretty depressed about it to. Hope he relocates somewhere less rent pricey.
