Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    OP, the short answer is yes, it is a lot of work. I can tell you from experience that if you're not absolutely wholeheartedly committed to building one from start to finish then don't bother. You can get all the advice you need, but its a waste of time if you don't have the willpower to see it through.

    You will have some hard times, trust me I know and unless you can see past all that you will end up with a half finished van on donedeal that you are trying to get shot of.

    Give us some more information OP, and we can give you some more information. Such as, what's you're budget for a van. What's you're budget for materials, whats you're skill level, what did you have in mind etc........

    Once you outline some of this, we can be of more help.

    Look at my thread, I started it in october 10, and technically its still not 'complete' and the hard times are also covered in it. Just count the number of times I've said 'its been a hard few days' and you'll get the gist.
