Dunno man, Pardew insists on playing him on the wing and also he is required to track back. It was well know that that was not going to happen and reduces his impact. Sticking him behind Remy might be a better position.

Motivation an issue but exacerbated by tactics. The drop may do him good as you say!

I just hope all this talk from Pardew about "strength in depth" isn't a sign we won't be getting in bodies in January.

We are just one or two injuries away from being pretty ****ed. We're in a good position and playing quite well but it's very fragile.

I'm kind of just bracing myself and waiting for the next bout of Ashley stupidity.

He's playing some of the best football i've seen him play, allowing Remy and Gouffran to get the glory.

Just watched the replays of the two critical incidents. There is absolutely no doubt that we should have had a penalty and Shelvey should have been sent off. Webb should be punished for an abysmal performance, he wont be though
