Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Injured after a root up the hole I hope,

Actually, not his fault if Pardew picks him

On other items, would you take £20 million plus Alex for Tiote?
I would take £20 million, Alex and Mikel personally but I dont think Ashley would match the wages of these players. If we get loads of money we will never see that spent on players either so unless we get a couple of players as part of any deal I reckon it would be a disaster and we will be relying on Guthrie for the remainder of the season.

    wtf was that? great improv

Doing well, looking much more composed than last week and more solid at the back with Colo back in. Getting closer to a goal here, we're all over them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

Anyone watching the ESPN stream, do you know who the commentators are?

Edit: seems to be Shaka Hislop.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Only a matter of time before Newcastle score here, they can't hang on for much longer. Swansea can't get out of their own half as Newcastle's pressing game is killing them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

tiote is a yard off the pace, obertan wasteful

still very comfortable. need to raise it a little

Obertan being abused by the Newcastle fans according to the commentator on the stream I'm watching (Nova Sports I think).

9 attempts on goal compared to Swansea's 1, really need to make this dominance count on the scoreboard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

Need to get 1 before half time. Corner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

F3ck it anyway, best we have played this season so far I think. Obertan the only one letting the side down, these poor final balls are shocking. His general play is good though.

For anyone who is watching this what do you think the chance is of this ending 0-0? 50/50 25%?

I bet on the 0-0 but am tempted to cash in now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

obertan hasbeen dreadful, again. looking for a short ball when te cross is on, looking to pass when the shot is on. he looks devoid of confidence!

booing is stupid though, cant condone it

ben arfa for obertan and this is in the bag barring a massive improvement from swansea

    Ba has been superb today

We're battering them tbh, camped in their half. Ba hit the post and forced a good save from Vorm, Coloccini just wide from a header. I'd be confident we'll get one 2nd half anyway!

Ruiz finally coming good for Fulham, great individual goal supposedly. Think he would have been a class player for the toon to acquire but will need a season to adjust, similar to colo and enrique did.

The way things are going we surely must score in the second half. Would not be surprised to see a one nil swansea win though the luck they are having lately.
