    3-0 Feruz.

Your guys look very impressive, just so much pace in that team. We've been very good this season and last. Was hoping for a bit of glory here to brighten things up a bit as our senior team is going down. Sadly not to be.

Game is very even to be honest. Chelsea have been far more clinical though. Blackburn have had some great chances.

edit: That's 4. Not sure if that's Feruz 2nd or Piazons.

Piazon to Feruz is something I'd like very much like to be hearing for the next 10 years. Unlikely but god it'd be nice.

An attempt at implying I'm "simple" is it?
What I would like to know is, Why would you even bother conversing with someone you deem to be "simple"? Unecessary incessant low level badgering over a lengthly period of time is what I'd deem it to be honest.
@gonzovision, I've only seen it mentioned that it will be shown on Chelsea tv.

(Off topic) I read somewhere that you can set up your browser in such a way so that even quoted messages which you would rather not see can be hidden too, can you shed any light on that?

(On topic) anyone see the youth match, was it any good? Just about to read the report.

What did you make of the game?is that 3/4/5 settled?

It's going to be hard for us to get 4th now, I think we'll finish ahead of Newcastle though.

I'm annoyed at today's game, I thought it was their or the taking. I would of brought Lamps on for Romeu and put Mata on earlier.

I'm really starting to hate sturridge, he just doesn't look interested, Torres was muck today aswell, thankfully Drogba has returned to form otherwise our season would be done. Hopefully he's fit for tuesday

Yeah **** sturridge wouldn't mind seeing him move on now greedy and wasteful I'm also starting to get sick of Torres not enough effort for players who should be putting the effort in to get back in the team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,511 ✭✭✭The Davestator

Getting sick of Danny too. He just won't pass to anyone and always wants a bit of extr time to do a step over or something. He should be getting to the line and crossing but he hardly ever does that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Barr

Sturridge was very wasteful today but I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to pass to Torres.

    Both were very poor today.

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 492 ✭✭thebison

Reckon Sturridge could be gone in the summer. Same with Torres.

We could sell Torres back to Spain this summer where he'd bang in goals. Our style just doesn't or will ever get the best out of him imo.

Thanks f**k we still have Drogs.

Well, I think it will take a miracle for us to get 4th now, even if spurs lose, I think we are both fighting it out with Newcastle now. I think Arsenal wil make it ok.
I suppose the key match is our match against Newcastle and the liverpool game.
Spurs have some easy looking matches but I suppose there is a slim chance

Who do you think would buy Torres?
Only team I can think of is if Falcao is sold by Atletico and they bring torres back.
Swap deal might be on with cash going Madrids way?

The Liverpool game being after the Cup final will work in Chelsea's favour IMO

Perhaps Torres + cash for Falcao?

He could be a perfect fit for Chelsea imo

I think they are the only club in Spain that he could go to.
He may have options in Russia and possibly a loan move to Italy.
It's a shame to see him not perform to his ability.

2 players I want to see in the summer

Jovetic and Hazard. Jovetic would be relatively cheap

    Sturridge
    Mata---Jovetic--Hazard

It would be INSANE to sell Danny, he's english (important point) and has bags of potential - just needs the right management to get the best out of him.
Plus he's a CF playing out of position on the wing. I saw him at reserves match against us years ago, and he's a lot better CF than a winger!

Probably wont happen because, despite all the bluster about the academy etc, Roman likes his strikers expensive and off the peg. Waste of potential, instead we play a striker who CANT score but can cross in his position!

QPR did us a huge favour tonight.

Spurs have some tough games coming up - all against teams who are fighting for their lives.
Newcastle have a very hard end to the season.

I reckon if we can beat Newcastle at home, we might just sneak 4th. If we can't win that, then we don't deserve it anyway really.

On todays game, I only saw the second half but my god Sturridge is seriously frustrating to watch. I was disappointed with Torres as well. He kept coming deep, probably because he wasn't getting the service up top himself, but he just looked very low in confidence.

Was very impressed with Gary Cahill again though! Good signs for the future.

    Barca losing 1-0 again!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Caveman1

Barca lost again tonight, I'm sure Chelsea will take great confidence from watching that game, surprisingly Barca were very poor tonight, they had loads of possession but that's it.

Drogba on form will tear that defence apart on Tuesday, hopefully we can just stop them from scoring

Yeah Barca were poor, Real had their tactics spot on. I'm sure we'll play the same Tuesday night.
Messi had to come very deep for the ball, was marked out of it completely.

I think we'll have to score on Tuesday though. Can't see us conceding more than 2 if we defend like we did today again.

    I'd settle for a 2-1 loss ;)

I think we should at least get 10 points from our remaining fixtures although I don't see why we can't win them all, there's going to be more points dropped before the end of the season hopefully we get the 4th spot it's gonna be tough though

I love Robbie's celebrations, but I'm guessing the players aren't too fond of them.

and Drogba should be fit to play Tuesday.

Is that because Merieles actually managed to make a pass to his own team?

I wasn't too happy with result on Saturday, it was a solid performance but I thought 4th was gone from us but it's actually turned out to be a pretty good weekend, 4th is surprisingly still possible even after the amount of times it looked like we threw it away
this year, its a strange auld season

Fourth is there for us if we win all our remaining games, I think spurs are spent and I think Newcastle have a more difficult run in than us. Just belive!!!
