Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not choking it at all in fairness. We're just gash at the moment. Still 25 mins to grab one back, however another one from Hertz and it's definitely game over.

Hooper really rips my knitting, how the hell does he manage to stay on all the time??????

Lustig and Loovens giving me no confidence at the moment, and K. Wilson not much better. Lustig better going forward than defending. Driver and Skacel getting way too much space.

Ye were robbed by Ref today lads.

Hard luck. If that was done my team I be savage.

too many missed chances by Celtic....they have only themselves to blame imo

The same team of officials that gave them a late offside goal

Hearts deserved it, Celtic weren't at the races.

Season over. Boycott time, dont enter their crooked competitions next year now and join the ****ing conference if you have to. I hope rangers do fold so we get an excuse to get the **** out of this corrupt pile of ****e and never come back. there'll be stories in years to come about Euan Norris bragging about "not giving them fenian bastards anything" just like hugh dallas did at an SFA dinner a few years back

Were you going to mention corruption etc if you had went on to win it after getting a goal that should've been disallowed? Doubt it.

    Dry your eyes.

We never deserved anything from that today. No good Lenny blaming officials, again he couldn't get the team up to win a match that mattered. Every time you point a finger Neil, there are three pointing back at you.

How can you get a disallowed goal? On the balance of play Celtic deserved a draw at least. Ki should be shot for his two misses.

I agreed Black should've been off, anyway that proves nothing, its the goals that matter and Celtic didn't take their chances.

Look at Samaras, Stokes and Hooper, not the referee.

I meant a goal that should've been disallowed, typing too fast lol.

If Celtic had taken their chances they would've won, nobody else to blame.

what about them being reduced to ten men and webster clearly handballing just after their second? no pen there naturally. crooked disgrace.

Agree 100% we were awful today, again too many players didn't turn up. This is the biggest issue Celtic have at the minute and Lennon's attitude towards officials isn't going to help up fix it.

Well the second part was directed at the Celtic fans.

Hibs long wait could finally be coming to an end.

you either give both or neither. what was different between their penalty and that? actually, in our case, the ball was on its way to an unmarked hooper

You can't honestly suggest that the one at the end was a peno? Hearts shouldn't have had a peno either but that doesnt make the one at the end a peno.

Well Ledley's arm was up and hit it, Webster didn't handle it.

Even if I give out to the ref, Celtic were a bit mediocre there sometimes. The first goal for Hearts was a result of defenders falling asleep, and Ki hitting the post twice...well, call it unlucky or not, he could have done better :(

Predictable chat in here from the usual faces.

    Offside goal, acceptable.
    Soft penalty, Crooked.

The difference was in the penalty against you your player had his hand up and slightly out so its a penalty if a bit harsh.
Nothing to do with corrupt refs or the SFA or anyone else Celtic should have buried them on chances missed they didn't and they paid the price

classic ball to hand, he was a yard away from the shot ffs. the webster penalty was as much a pen as the ledley one - not at all. but if you give one, give the other.

usual garbage here from the rangers lads, every time celtic complain it's injustified according to them - they should really get out of that joke of a league, just find some way to get out

comparing the "offside" goal, which was perhaps 1 mm offside to a decision to give a penalty when the ball was blasted at ledley from a metre away and he wasn't even looking at shows how ridiculous these lads arguments are and how one-eyed their view of the game is - this is exactly why celtic have to escape that toxic league, on top of that just 1 minute later a hearts lad handles in the box and nothing is done, it would be seriously funny if it wasn't so utterly pathetic - but all that is ok because celtic's goal was a millimetre offside, that's how these people view the game, it's not about integrity at all, it's about self-justification through the most warped and disingenuous of lenses

having said all that, celtic were poor today except for the last 15 minutes and I would have been perfectly happy to accept hearts as worthy winners had we not suffered the circus of the double handball fiasco at the end of the game, neither were penalties, one was given, one was not

as i said in the other thread, every time celtic win a trophy in scotland they should really be so proud as it takes a superhuman effort to do it, like women who say they have to work twice as hard as men to get a promotion or get a senior position, celtic need to do more to get results in scotland, hell if it wasn't for staggeringly awful decisions celtic would have the treble but we'll have to settle for being champions for now and hopefully enter a new league as soon as possible, to retire from the scottish league as champions despite everything they threw at us would be sweet

And the Rangers fans are the ones with the warped views, jesus.

Offside is offside, it doesn't matter how far it is, its still offside.

Webster did not handle the ball, so there was no "double handball fiasco".

The referee did not make you lose the treble, Neil Lennon and lazy players lost you the treble.

    Last paragraph = HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Duh you can't give the Webster one if it didn't hit his hand

it hit his arm beneath the shoulder, read the rules.

i'd rather hearts just won one nil tbh, instead of this double penalty fiasco to piss everyone off. it was as much a pen as the first one - it ****ing wasnt. but it's one rule for us and one for everyone else, hence them getting one and us not. this is a league where the former head of reffing was notably sectarian (dallas) and we're still getting ****e decisions against us at least every other week, little ****ing wonder we're paranoid.

Jesus christ, only caught the 2nd half. Black should have gone for that tackle in the 1st. I think Hearts fully deserved the win in the 2nd half performance. Celtic weren't very good to be honest.

So both the cup final and today was enough to win you the treble? Playing Kelvin Wilson at CB was a good idea? Players not turning up is acceptable, because you can always blame the referee?

I've read some ****e on here, but today takes the piss.

let me spell out, there are levels of incompetence when it comes to making decisions

ian black not being sent off - pretty awful decision

hooper not being flagged offside - understandable, it was a very marginal decision

peno to hearts when the ball was slammed into ledley from a yard in the last minute of a cup semi-final = shockingly bad

craig beattie deciding us to show his toned and tanned torso to the world = probably the worst of the lot :)

laugh all you want lads, we are champions and youz are in administration so i know who'll be laughing last

I mentioned already, that Celtic were mediocre sometimes (sorry, if that was in another thread today), but Lenny choosing the wrong players on the wrong position, or the team under performing were not the only reasons.

If the team performed and took there chances there would be nothing to complain about, if Stokes and Ki had taken their chances they would've been out of sight.

If Stokes and Ki had taken their chances would people have mentioned the referee? Doubt it.

I don't know, if that penalty would have been awarded, if the match was decided at that stage.

But for me, the first crucial decision was not to send Black off anyway, not that penalty there.
