Source for your last statement please like I had the decency to do?

You don't need curry, you need to use the spice Turmeric.

I didn't need to look it up as it is a well known fact, there was a person on the radio whose son was damaged by cannabis use. Not a heavy user but it affected him in a very bad way.

Sugar is much more dangerous to our health and at a guess 99% of the population use it daily,

Lets ban sugar, and bring in the weed.

Its crazy how the majority of population just believe what they are told, Cannabis is something that can actually benefit our health, this is a proven fact, and its illegal, and just because its illegal the majority of the world assume its its bad and jump on the morale bandwagon, the same people will be calling for said governments head the next time they mess up something harmless, people need to open their eyes!

And just for shhits and giggles! since processed food has been introduced to the world, diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease and cancer have increased to ridiculous amounts, its not a coincidence! wake up people.

You need a username & password to login to your source. Have you got one that doesn't want me to sign up to its free account so it can advertise PHARMA products please?

Also, wheres the proof that cannabis caused this person "on the radios" son any harm. Its some random person who needs something to blame their sons behavior on perhaps. Its as simple as that. If he is acting out then one of the first things he will do to rebel is to take cannabis. Perhaps instead when she found out he was smoking it, she sat him down and smoked one with him, it would have been such a revelation as to shock him into respecting her and perhaps change his life for the better. Other than that he most likely had some sort of imbalance previous to the cannabis and still the cannabis would be used as a scaegoat as these people need something to blame other than themselves in a lot of cases.

Some random person or paid hack on the Joe Duffy brigade is not evidence.

Your evidence is not backed up so far.

How is that possible? Cannabis is illegal; no one can get it.

Ahh I get it. So, everyone who has ever smoked cannabis will develop severe mental illness. Symptoms include:

Doubting Religious tripe pushed down your throat.
Questioning the 'real' intentions of your government, and governments worldwide. (Skeptical and/ or Cynical)
Dislike for 'Blah blah's got talent' and 'X-Factor'.
Headaches, when someone puts on the radio and the latest chart-topping muck is ringing in your ears.
An ability to think for oneself.
A new found love and deep understanding of nature, it's flora and fauna.
In general being weird to other sheep as you seem to think for yourself and not believe that everything in the world is black and white.

Anti Marijuana brigade = Sheep. FACT!!!

I suppose the intelligent response is that like alcohol or any drug it can cause problems if abused.

It can cause psychological problems for a small number of medium to heavy users below the age ~17.

This is where "parenting" comes in. I appreciate it's a foreign concept to most parents these days but it's definitely worth a look into for those Joe Duffy listeners with kids.

[The study about this was posted in the last weed thread. Couldn't be arsed looking for it.]

He shouldn't have been standing on a radio while he smoked a spliffter. :pac:

The prohibition of drugs is not about care for people - it's about control of people and resources*.

    *
    1. Tax-payers money
    2. Keeping alcohol and cigs as 'moral' drugs
    3. Creating a criminal class for those who persecute them

The word you are looking for is trigger.........not cause.
A gun must be loaded for a trigger to work, think about that.

Christopher Reeve died as a result of a fall from a polo pony.

Have you actually tried medical grade cannabis? or are you basing this on a bag of ditch weed?

True, if he/she smoked stuff in Ireland he might well have made himself worse. Medical grade is something completely different.

Also was it Sativa or Indica?

FOr MS I believe Sativa will do nothing for you as its a head high. If its indica its an all over body situation so theres a vital difference. Some people have better results from a particular mix of these and it takes a few tries to find the right combination that works.

From what I can see you have to ingest hash oil orally, it goes to the liver and from there is sent where needed. Smoking does jack... (comparatively).

That is a better way to take it but THC in the form of vapor is not far from it. Additionally it depends on the ailment, some things will respond better for oil and some things better from smoking.

Took it in a sandwhich, just saw giant spiders. Plus, I would not take it again, because I'd be afraid to drive. If I couldn't drive, life would not be worth living.

Where you by any chance in a room that was actually full of giant spiders?

I've heard one person before say they started seeing things while on weed, it seems impossible to me, I've never come close to hallucination on weed and only know a handful of people who claim they have.

Giant spiders? That honestly sounds more like the aftermath of a two-week meth binge than the effects of cannabis. I have honestly never heard of open-eye visuals on that scale as a result of of taking weed - even closed-eye visuals are atypical and generally pretty mild if they do occur.

Nonetheless, since every patient reacts differently to different treatments, it makes sense that not all MS sufferers would derive benefit from consuming the drug.

I've heard many reports of people getting nothing off their first spliff, I didn't get much off it, although I was pretty drunk which highlights just how bad the soap was at the time.

Took me about 3 tries before I got high. When I did finally get high I thought the weed was laced with something, blew my mind.

I know a few people who won't even smoke weed because they're too used to hash. They can't keep it together if I give them a bit of the stuff I smoke. I don't know how anyone can smoke the camel dung you get in this country.

First time I went to the Dam I hadn't smoked anything in ages because I couldn't get weed, so I decided to have a joint of super skunk to get started. I went white.

This would be great news for smokers... but I don't think anything past pain relief and more minor ailments are affected this way?? Hopefully I'm wrong now but getting it to the liver without being burned or cooked is apparently the only way to reap anything close to it's full effect - which is a bit of a bitch as cooking up oil looks pretty messy...

Unless a local entrepreneur would make it, package it and sell it. Then you wouldn't have to worry about having to make it. While enabling a person in Ireland to grow a quality product and sell it on providing jobs and economic growth which we so desperately need. This is pure money for our local economy and we marketed our cannabis product quality with our food reputation and lived up to it then we could have a massive new export.

Its certainly better than providing a scrappage scheme for cars when most of the money from that will go to Germany instead of swirling around in our own local economies.
