Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I got an Iomega Screenplay DX media drive. Is it possible to put a password on the drive. The drive is open to anyone with a laptop in my house at the moment.

Im looking to put a password prompt when someone wants to open it?

    Any ideas

I would format and encrypt with Drivecrypt from the off. If the data is meant to be read/written put Drivecrpt and the necessary passwords on the client computer.

Why Drivecrypt and not Truecrypt? The latter being free.

Screenplay doesn't seem to have a password option so guess crypt of some kind would be next step.

So what do i do! download Truecrypt on the network drive! Will this give a prompt for a password when connecting to the drive. The drive consists of photos/movies!
