    are you very rich? will you be arriving in your own super yacht?
    only messing, in has many expensive places, the train station is like something out of a bond movie. the casino is worth a visit, and a bit of general gawking at the rich sets toys.

    I wouldn't base myself there for a holiday regardless of wealth! For all it's glamour it's a bit of a dump beyond the Marina and Casino Square, albeit one with designer shops, supercar dealers and boutique hotels. The palace is worth a look too.

    If money is no object there are amazing hotels on the cliffs above Eze, Beaulieu-sur-mer and Villefranche to the west and Menton to the East.

    Herself and I set out to visit it as a day-trip from Nice. By about 2.30 we had seen enough and headed back to base.

    Glad we went; glad we didn't give it more time.

    its good for a day trip but nearby nice is a better place to base yourself for a short holiday

    No way would i go for more than a few hours. Nice is great, Monaco's boring unless you've literally thousands to blow. You'll see everything in 4 hours or so.
