Looney short prices, I reckon he should be 5/2 at least in this. Up 11lbs for a 5l win in a o to 65 HC on good to soft. The 2nd placed horse was rated 50 and the 2nd 52, that's not fantastic form. This is a 0 to 70.

Big stake on the win, difference between €5 and €14 isn't huge and I'm having a sh1tter today, last race so no more damage to do.... anyway back to the horse........

0 to 70 12f on good horse is rated 69, came 2l 5th last time out when on turf in a 0 to 75 when had some trouble in running. I'm not looking at the AW form to be honest, stays the trip well and ground suits.

Lack of discipline displayed to an extent but when Cheval Rouge was pulled to the outside on the straight I thought it might have mustered a run, ah well. Emilio Largo beating Rigolleto was a humongous kick in the nuts though.

I didn't bother to work it out but a fair percentage of that was from lays, some was from backed selections too obviosuly. Starting bank was €100, although there was only €60 in the account, I'd have thrown in the €40 as required.

Has form on soft ground, high enough in the weights but the ground may be a huge factor in this one, very decent place price.

Has won better races than this 0 to 70 and has been contesting better ones lately, trip and ground to suit, as to be of interest off topweight in this race.

Topweight in this 0 to 75 12f HC on good off 74. Had a CD win 3 runs ago off 69 in a 0 to 70, after that was beaten 5/2fav off 75 in a 0 to 80, was beaten a distance that day, ran another poor race lto here over today'd trip in a 0 to 85 off 75.

By no means a safe bet but a combination of being at a realistic weight amongst this field and the good form that that unrecent does offer promise if the horse is well within itself.

Difficult patch at the moment, weekend ahead though, fingers crossed it's remotely successful, today and yesterday were shocking. In case anyone is wondering it is absolutely zero consolation that the money I'm losing is money won over the last 4 or so weeks.

up 11lbs for lto win but that was over today's trip, ground suits and in good form, open to improvement too, decent price tbp amongst this lot me thinks.

better over 6f than 5f so 7f may well suit, not 4 times worse than the fav formwise to good value for the place me thinks, good to soft is an unknown but the price covers it.

Anyway 2.55 Southwell Outlaw Tom 5.4 €4.00 backed

Rated 109 in this 0 to 110, 115 proved too much but back down to this proven mark over a trip that suits and on favourable ground. Fav has very decent form off 109 too but I think the 5.4 is far too big a price for this lad.

Calypso Bay 1.82 €5.00 backed tbp

As above decent form off this rating and topweight here so should be there or thereabouts.
