I'm not going potty, after 3 years without an appearance it came out and won a 0 to 110 17f HC on soft, then ran a crap race upped to 20f shortly after and hasn't been seen since.

Two and a half years on here we are, topweight off 100 in this 24f HC, might well have zero chance but I'd be afraid to lay it at 6/1 ish.

Feck sake, should have had a lay bet at evens for a few quid hanging out there, fair play to the trainer, jockey and horse though, great performance.

In good spirits though, a few of them at really decent prices ran great races, a betting office comrade of mine would say I was hitting the crossbar allday.

Now that the betting bank has swelled ye may have noticed that my back place stake is often less than the back win stake. Effectively that's because I can afford to do so, at the start of this with a bank of €100 I simply couldn't afford such a strategy.

Fingers crossed one goes in tomorrow, off the crossbar will do

I like this one, this is a 0 to 80 10f HC on GF.

Selection won a 0 to 75 off 73 on similar ground and then was well beaten when raised 7lbs contesting a 0 to 80, that was on GS though. Also the race he won, was 2 1/2L clear of the 2nd who was well clear of the third.

HUGE chance here back on favourable ground.

Won a 0 to 75 off 74, then raised 7lbs came 3rd in a 0 to 90 over this trip, beaten by horses rated 87 and 82 in that by 4 3/4l and a length respectively.

Puts him in a great position for this at a decent price, I don't really see him winning though hence the larger place bet.
